WHAT IS A CERAMIC COATING?

A ceramic coating contains SiO2 silica protection that puts a measurable layer of very durable protection over the clear coat on your vehicle. Ceramic coatings bond to a surface at the nano-molecular level and are hydrophobic by nature, not only beading water, but literally pushing water off the surface of the vehicle, which allows for easier cleaning at every wash. They typically cannot be removed by normal wash processes, and they provide excellent UV protection to the exterior surfaces of your vehicle.

Ceramic coatings do require a very specific application process that must be followed to achieve the best results without any issues; they are more involved than applying a wax, letting it haze, and then buffing it off, like most customers are familiar with.

Ceramic coatings typically last a minimum of 1 year, and some are designed to last up to 2 or 3 years. The maintenance wash package is required every 2 to 3 months to maintain the integrity of the coating for daily drive vehicles for them to last up to their potential.
